A closer look at Clyde’s Willow Creek Farm through the lens of elevated, rustic-refined wedding design.

Recently, I had the opportunity to work behind the scenes here while designing an autumn dinner for the Emerge Event Collective. Even before styling began, Willow Creek Farm already felt beautifully appointed. The Pavilion, with its tall ceilings and glowing wood, offers plenty of space for ceremonies, cocktail hours, and receptions — but it never loses its intimate feel. For our dinner, I wanted to create a tablescape that felt rooted in the season while still feeling timeless. The space called for textures that complemented the venue rather than competing with it.

We layered the table with:

• Botanical-patterned linens in a soft, painterly palette
• Lush, textural florals that grounded the table in early-autumn richness
• Candlelight to bring depth and glow
• Editorial-inspired place settings featuring mixed textures and tonal details

The effect was quietly luxurious — not overly done, but full of warmth. Against the historic backdrop of Willow Creek Farm, the whole evening felt like stepping into a cozy, elevated gathering you never wanted to leave.
